Joseph Albano, MBA 
Chairman of the Board and CEO
Joseph Albano has spent more than 13 years in the healthcare field with extensive P&L and general management experience. He joined Sentrx in 2001 as Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the delivery of drug safety services to some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
Prior to joining Sentrx, Joseph was Senior Vice President of Account Management at WebMD. There he was instrumental in retaining and growing revenue with key accounts even as a complex corporate merger was taking place. His career also includes 12 years with Merck-Medco Managed Care, the nation's leading pharmaceutical benefits manager. While at Merck-Medco, Joseph was successful in improving efficiencies, expanding revenues and accelerating growth across a range of functions, encompassing operations, member services and client services. He was the catalyst for developing and installing automated workflow and other technologies that consistently improved operating standards while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Joseph also performed international business development activities for the parent company Merck, exploring managed care opportunities in the global market.
Previously, in positions at American Express, Joseph gained extensive expertise designing and managing large telephone service organizations that became the model in the financial services industry for quality, service and efficiency.
Joseph earned an MBA in Finance from Long Island University, where he also graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Finance. |
